Preaching the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ through Love

John 3:16-18

We preach the gospel of our lord Jesus Christ through love and compassion to the communities so that they receive Christ as their personal Lord and Savior and teach them about their personal relationship with God.

Planting Churches

Side by Side Church is intentional about meeting the needs of others both naturally and spiritually-changing the lives of people and helping them develop a pure relationship with Christ.

We share the good news of our Lord Jesus Christ ‘’Repent  and be Baptized’’Acts 2: 28.Our goal is to equip and make disciples for those who believe Matthew 28:18-20,and to Preach the gospel of our Lord Jesus to those who have not yet heard and received Him as their personal Lord and savior,Mark 16:15

Provision of Clean Water

We recommend communities to other organizations such as Sychar Springs International to drill wells to help have clean water. This improve water supply and sanitation to reduce gastro intestinal diseases and water borne diseases. We organize ccommunity to clean the surroundings of the water sources. However,we still have a big challenge on this issue because many areas are lacking  water ,hence making children search for water in swamps and far places which have resulted into many terrible issues such

 Farming

Side by Side Christ Ministries started a pig farm to help on child sponsorship and to be a demonstration of peasants and farmers to learn how to use the organic fertilizers to grow crops  that can produce a high yield hence improving their production and in turn, their incomes.

Sewing

We have a donation of three sewing machines to help engage in teaching our teenagers and children skills such as sewing so that they can be self sustaining in future.

Sensitization about HIV AIDS

Since many of our people in our communities are infected by HIV Aids, yet most of our people in our communities believed that HIV Aids is witchcraft,We’re happening to get to many communities always to teach them about the virus and how it affects in order to help the children and teenagers mostly not to fall into the trap though some of them are born with the virus.

Target workshops

We organize Children and Teenagers’ workshops during different seasons of the year from different communities and discuss different issues according to their age.Such as HIV prevention, premature pregnancy,Sex ,Love and peer groups.During this time we share life experiences,Challenges and dreams. We let them open up to different topics.

Our volunteers guide them basing on Biblical principles,we believe this help them grow in His likeness.

Women empowerment and family affairs

Women bear a burden of bringing up children as well as other family needs in the villages we are working in.In most cases men resort to drinking alcohol which leaves their wives with a big burden of taking care of the family.

In order to empower them, we always go in villages and teach them crafts such as making necklaces, mats, baskets earrings, sewing etc, which they sell after in urban areas and get some money to  buy simple necessities such as soap, salt, etc, and sometimes it help them invest in farming and raring animals and poultry.

Family affairs is another concern from our organization. We believe that a solid family basis contributes directly to a healthy community development. We  place children in foster families, We support foster families, therefore we always encourage those couples who are still together to continue serving with love, and respect towards each other and also to respect the rights of both their biological and foster children.
